"CUNNING LINGUIST"

I stood with a slender young woman in a cozy, old-fashioned kitchen. She wore a sleeveless brown and pale yellow patterned summer dress. Though she displayed her dress in an awkward fashion, she held a quiet sense of confidence about herself.

We entered the next room to talk. Our conversation led to some pleasant friskiness.

"HOW INTERIOR IS MY VALLEY?"

I browsed through a very nice, up-scale department store, complete with richly-stained wooden floors, small round tables for displays, and subdued track lighting on the ceiling for illumination. Actually, the store was a house with several rooms. On one of the tables, I looked at a dress shirt and tie combination with a red on red color scheme.

I decided not to make a purchase and walked into another room. This area was much more open; it reminded me of a waiting area in a bus terminal or airport concourse. A man started talking to me as I walked through the room. He spoke to me with a familiarity that suggested he knew me at some point in my life. His wry grin jogged my memory.

He was someone I had befriended on a family trip to Connecticut. Ten years later, he was now married with two children. His lovely wife and family sat near him.

I travelled in a car with a group of women. We drove into a grassy valley, with shallow water lining the bottom of the valley. As we advanced, the shallow water became a small pond. I asked aloud if the car was amphibious. We left the car and talked amongst ourselves on the side of a hill -- the valley was akin to a golf course area.

"INFANTILE"

I saw a premature baby resting on a small neatly folded rag on a kitchen countertop. The length of the baby could not have been more than six inches. It looked very fragile, yet peaceful, as it lay on the countertop. I made a pillow with a smaller rag and gingerly placed it below the head of the baby.

"SALVAGED EGRESS"

Two cars were towed:  one was a Hyundai Scoupe; the other was a Ford Taurus. I sat in a car and spoke to an Asian man about the two cars. He said we might salvage one of them.

Since my car was parked in the middle of a narrow street, I pulled my car over to the side near the curb. As I continued my chat, a car screamed past me.

I stood on a building rooftop near another group of people. I seemed to be loosely associated with them. I looked for a way off of the roof. An alarm sounded; the group and I mobilized.

We stood in a room with a high ceiling. I noticed a window near the top of the wall, just below the ceiling. I used a metal coatrack to hook on the window sill, breaking the window. I climbed to the window and squeezed my body through this newly-created escape route. In haste, the others prepared to follow me.
