"NOT TODAY, NOT TODAY"

It was dark as I drove on an elevated highway road. I could see roof-tops on either side. It seemed like I was in "Da Region" -- Northern Indiana/South Chicago. I looked for a place to eat but I did not wish to get lost along the way. The highway I was on "t-ed" into a street, 96th Street I believe. I turned left and saw a McDonald's. I laughed and thought how silly it was to travel so far only to go to a McDonald's, but I did not want to get too far off track and get lost. I pulled my car into the parking lot and saw another fast food restaurant. It seemed like a local restaurant so I decided to go there instead of McDonald's. I walked past a small McDonald's counter on the way to the other restaurant. A woman was cleaning up behind the counter. I decided not to get anything at the other restaurant and walked back to my car, passing the small McDonald's counter again. The woman stopped cleaning, thinking I would order something. When I passed her counter, she had a look that said, "Damn, he got away."

In the parking lot I saw an uncle and another man standing by a car. They had parked it with a row of cars and it somehow had gotten washed -- I think he may have parked in a row of cars going into a car wash and did not realize it. My uncle was a bit peeved because the some body paint had worn off due to the car wash. I looked out at the intersection where I had turned off of and saw two large building complexes; one had onion-shaped domes found in Russian Orthodox architecture. The buildings seemed familiar. It felt like I had dreamt about this place before.

"BLACKMAIL OF A GASEOUS KIND"

I awoke from something akin to a sleep-over. A woman walked toward the bathroom to clean herself up and leave. She was pleasantly surprised when I asked her if she wanted some breakfast before she left. Another woman and a handful of others were still asleep when I went into the kitchen to prepare breakfast -- I believe they were practically sleeping in the kitchen. I did my best to quell some flatulence I had but an uncle heard me "make some noise." He made a few comments about it but I ignored him. My hope was to not draw attention to this matter, thus killing the line of conversation entirely. Futhermore, I did not want the sleeping woman in the kitchen to hear about this and somehow hold it against me.

"THE CONSEQUENCE OF SYNCHRONIZED BATTLES"

I remember a fight in a street with a fallen tree in the background. Two men were fighting when a large man, easily eight feet tall, joined one side. He rushed forward and punched down, striking the other man. Another incredibly tall man joined the other side. The effect of the smaller men moving with the larger men reminded me of video games with a main character moving about and another character acting as the main characters' shadow -- like the Sonic the Hedgehog video game.

Next I remember seeing a green Incredible Hulk figure. He had no arms. His shoulders rounded down to where his upper arms would have been. Instead, he had bloody open areas, as if his arms had been ripped off just below his shoulder sockets. With a woeful visage, he sat down. I think he may have been in the aforementioned fight.

"SOLAR SYSTEM²"

A new solar system was discovered. It contained a smaller solar system, which was an oblate spheroid of swirling dust. Several planets could be found within this lesser solar system. The planets crowded one another, sometimes occupying the same orbit. From the reports, new planets were still forming -- I believe a total of three hundred planets was given. A scientist speculated that humans would have the ability to investigate the solar system within a solar system in seven hundred years. I stated aloud that that was some long-term planning. I looked for a snack in the refrigerator.

"DE-TUNE"

A man held a violin and prepared to play it. He stood on a yellow-brown carpeted floor -- the area reminded me of a front altar area of a contemporary church. He asked me and an unseen group of people to de-tune our low violin string to B1. The man walked over and looked at my music stand. He saw some personal notes of mine that were visible under the sheet music on the music stand. I think my notes consisted of music transcriptions or tabulature, written in pencil. The man said it was garbage, took a pencil, and crossed out the notes I had made. Furthermore, he wrote "Keanu Reeves is the worst actor" next to my crossed-out notes. I had to agree with his latter assertion.

"SURFACE ACCLIMATION / COERCED ACQUIESCENCE / ELUSIVE / FIRST KISS"

Far underground, a group of people and I underwent come kind of "process." We needed to get back to surface, so we went into a large, dark, high domed room and sat in chairs that pointed up -- launch position-style. As the countdown began, I wondered if I should control my breathing due to the stress of such an event. It happened quickly and did not seem stressful at all. The group returned to the surface. Other people were milling about a house when we returned. A young woman was upset; she wanted to undo the "process" and return to "normal."

I noticed people were "pairing-off," with young men and women getting together. I wondered if I would be a part of this "pairing-off." I sat in a deck chair. A girl seemed to be walking toward me but I assumed she would pass around my deck chair. To my surprise, she hopped into my lap and began to kiss me -- she looked like someone from my high school class.

The previously upset woman, who looked a bit like supermodel Heidi Klum, went to a doctor for an examination. He undid her light blue top -- she had nice bikini tan lines -- and caressed her breasts. When she stated she was uncomfortable, he groped her and laid his body upon hers. She quietly sobbed and seemed to acquiesce after awhile.

Next, I drove a speedboat through a small channel of water. At times it seemed like I was walking through a corridor-type room as well. I repeated my run and noticed missles were pointed at me, so I dodged them, jumping over them at one point. One of the boats patrolling this body of water gave chase. I eluded them by jumping from the channel of water to an ocean nearby. My boat went into a submarine mode and I moved parallel to the channel of water/corridor till I got back to the beginning. I walked out through the corridor as people busily passed me, apparently looking for an "intruder" and not realizing that I was the "intruder." They said they were looking for a sheriff or a policeman.

A boy and girl were talking to one another behind a bar in a small empty bar room, as if the girl's parents owned the bar room and they were hanging out together. Love was in bloom as the two talked, but the girl was playing hard-to-get. The boy thought she was no longer interested when she leaned her head into his. They kissed, slowly leaning their bodies on the top of the bar.

"GREEN"

Some people were putting when a giant golf ball, about five feet in diameter, rolled onto the golf course green with them. It stopped behind a golfer, who stood upright from his putting stance and looked at it with bewilderment.

14

"BON NUIT -- ET ADIEU"

I ate some chocolate soft serve ice cream in a small wide cup with a spoon. The ice cream had a slightly thicker consistency than regular soft serve ice cream. I sliced the spoon down, taking small pieces to consume. I remember the texture the spoon made against the ice cream as I sliced down.

I was in a house and I could not find the exit to leave. Rooms led to rooms and I felt that I was trapped in a maze. Someone finally showed me the exit. Some books were standing upright, making a small wall. I walked behind them and followed the path to the front door. I left.

It was night and I drove her home. I walked her to her door unsure of how she would say good night. She quietly said thanks without looking at me and walked into her place. The nonchalance of her good night did not surprise me.

"SQUARED ORBITS"

Several astronauts sat in old, cramped desks in a small grade school classroom. They were dressed in dark suits and appeared to have 1960s-style haircuts -- flattops and the like. Someone entered the room and drew a moon on the blackboard. He shaded the moon while the grade school teacher talked to him. He spoke about a lunar orbiter, demonstrating its orbit around the moon with a dashed elliptical line. The circular orbit caused it to miss synching up with a lunar rover on the surface of the moon. He explained it would have been different had the lunar orbiter been able to make a square corner around the moon, as if the moon were a two-dimensional object like the one on the blackboard.

Next, he showed the tracks of the lunar rover on the surface on the moon. The tracks were small ruts on a smooth gray lunar surface. He mentioned that for the first time a human being had occupied such a lunar rover. The lunar rover looked like a small model made of sheet metal and pins, with a rotating radar dish on the top.

I was in a store. I saw some vintage bed sheets displayed in small bins in one aisle. I recognized some of them as being from my youth -- a few from Star Wars, some were brown and tan with jungle scenes, etc. It seemed quaint that they were re-selling them after all these years. I pointed these nostalgic bed sheets out to a friend.

"PLAYFUL F CHORD"

I sat in a small desk, the kind with the arm on the right side that becomes a writing area before the person sitting in the desk -- the arm looks like a question mark. My desk was up against a wall to my left and a young woman with dark hair sat in a desk to my right:  I was sandwiched between the wall and the young woman's desk. We were in a music class. I had my guitar. I had to hold it forward due to the confined space. Looking over at the young woman, I saw a sheet of paper with lyrics to a song and the corresponding chords for the music in her hands. The chorus to the song only had two chords -- D and G I believe. In a sarcastic yet winsome tone, I joked that I would not be able to keep up with the chord changes. She responded in kind with, "It is not as easy as it looks." I looked at the bottom of the page and saw an F chord at the end of this song. With deference, I stated to the young woman that I still had trouble with F chords.

Next we sat on couches and read newspapers. When a woman asked the young woman from the music class for her name, the young woman replied with her proper name. She told the woman that she used a nickname or different name typically. The woman asked the young woman why she used a broker for her online stock trades. I think we were looking at newspapers with stock information -- like a stock trading group.

"CANINE CGI"

It was dusk in a forest. There seemed to be a "mama tree" and a "papa tree" -- redwoods I think. A couple of young adults were climbing and hugging these trees. I walked up to the "papa tree" to take a look at them with small group of other people. A help desk was near the "papa tree." A grizzly bear stood next to the help desk and looked our way. It growled at us; no one seemed concerned about the growling bear except me.

A talking chihuahua said it would help smooth things between the bear, our group, and the tree. One person in the group asked if British "bitterness" could give way to Australian "something" -- I cannot remember exactly. The dog replied it would have to give it a shot.

I could tell that the dog wasn't really a dog, but animation superimposed where a real dog was filmed. I noticed that its eyes were green -- they seemed to "dance" as it walked, a dead give-away that some post production enhancements were done -- as it walked to the base of the tree, looking up at it. The sun was setting and night went from dusk to dark.

"WATER CLOSET PUGILISTS"

I remember going into a public restroom. I heard a commotion as I sat in one of the metal-partitioned stalls. The height of the stalls was such that I could see over them -- sort of. A man followed a woman into this restroom -- I recognized the man as a high school acquaintence. As I wondered what the situation was, the man and woman burst through the stall door, the result of the man grabbing the woman and pushing her against the stall door; they practically fell into the restroom stall with me. I told him to leave her alone but my declaration fell upon deaf ears. Rather than take him on myself, I went out into the hallway for help. I saw a woman dressed in a tan police outfit -- she looked like a sheriff. I asked her if she was security. When she responded in the affirmative, I pointed back to the restroom where the altercation was taking place and apprised her of the situation. As I looked down the hallway, I witnessed another fight erupting between a different man and woman in another room. After a verbal exchange, the woman punched the man in the face. I wondered if the security officer would think that I was referring to this altercation, not the one in the restroom.

I went out into a field at night. I saw the man from the restroom altercation walking with what appeared to be some of his "cronies" -- they walked behind him and seemed to be following his lead. I walked cautiously so they would not see me, making my way to a truck. I tried to drive away but a wooden gate blocked my exit. I removed a few parts of the gate and drove away.

"TILE SIREN"

I watched various cars go through a revolving door. Apparently certain cars were unable to pass through this door. I guessed aloud to a man standing next to me that Cadillacs were among this group of cars that could not pass through this revolving door. We went into some car place. The guy behind the counter said he liked the other man's hat, so the man gave it to the behind-the-counter fellow. We wanted a car and started to walk out with an attendent to get one but he seemed nervous for some reason. The guy behind the counter helped us instead. He had to remove some kind of large metal hydraulic clamp off of the back of the vehicle. He filled a gasoline tank of a small flatbed trailer behind this vehicle with a small metal gasoline can. The behind-the-counter guy and I sat on the trailer as the other man started up the vehicle, which looked like a very old car -- circa 1910s, bulky with tall, thin tires. As we travelled down a street, someone threw small fireworks at us, barely missing us. One was thrown and I saw some children in a house cheering -- I could see their exuberance through a large window.

I took a shower. I saw some prompt for a woman's web page -- it said she was a teacher and only men six-foot-one and above need only apply. I could not get the links to work, so I pushed the bathroom tile near the faucet head inward that served as her "place." The two pieces of bathroom tile folded inward and I could see a small corridor to the left and a small door to the right. The door to the right led to a bathroom. I noticed a pair of woman's legs. It seemed like she was showering too and was trying to hide -- I remember seeing a white towel tightly wrapped around her waist but I could not see any higher than that. I thought about getting a better look, lowering myself and looking upward, but I realized she would see my face and recognize me as one of the guys next door. I watched a roommate finish some dusting as an older woman arrived at the door, bringing some food. I stayed in the bathroom as others came forward to claim their food.
